This safari starts and end in Mombasa. Tsavo East national parks offers attractions such as Lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, antelope, warthog, ostrich, Baboons, birds,Herds of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling or simply foraging,The beautiful man made Aruba dam located on the north bank of the seasonal Voi River, is visited by thousands of animals and is a great game viewing destination and the Mudanda Rock – this whale-backed rock towers above a natural dam, which acts as a draw to thousands of elephants while the Amboseli National Park is Kenya’s second most popular park. Some say it’s because of the massive herds of elephants found here, others say the park’s smaller size affords active wildlife spotting. And you just may be entranced at the magnificent form of Kilimanjaro watching over us.

Visual Itinerary
Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner
The safari begins with a pickup at your beach hotel or at the Mombasa port. We’ll take the Mombasa – Nairobi Highway to Tsavo East.You’ll take in the sights of fields, homesteads and the people of Kenya on your journey to Tsavo East National Park. Entering the park, our game drives will begin as we scan the grasslands for lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino.
We’ll enjoy some big advantages in our game spotting as we head to the attractive Aruba Dam, a man-made structure that has created a vibrant reservoir. Great populations of the park’s wildlife come here for the life-sustaining water. Also, at the Kanderi marsh area, we’ll be looking for the pride of lions that reside near this green oasis. Other species such as elephants and giraffe seek nourishment here.
As we depart the reserve for nearby Tsavo West National Park, we’ll keep our eyes out for more big game and over 500 species of birds that fill the reserve. Soon we’ll come upon the massive savannah at Tsavo West, accented with volcanic remnants and lush green areas.We’ll head to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary and carefully explore the area, looking for the shy elusive rhino

We’ll arise early on our first safari morning to take full advantage of the dawning light and emerging animal life. We’ll enjoy breakfast and then a quick game drive as we exit Tsavo East. We’re now bound for Amboseli. We’ll stop for some breaks on our trek to this very popular park. The imposing form of Mt Kilimanjaro will be our beacon guiding us to the park entrance. Arriving, we’ll freshen up before embarking on our first game drive at the foot of the iconic mountain.
Compared to Tsavo East, Amboseli is small and its compact size has the advantage of affording us more opportunities to see the big game. However, you can’t miss the elephants at this reserve. They are in such abundance you’re guaranteed sightings! And get your “Big Five” checklist out – if you missed any of them at Tsavo East, you just may spot them here.

It’s an early rise again, and hopefully, the clouds will break at the peak of Kilimanjaro, revealing its snowy crown. Dining at your camp or lodge before a delicious safari breakfast, you can take in the splendor of Africa’s largest peak overlooking the park. We’ll enjoy one final game drive in Amboseli again looking for the big game and the smaller forms of hyena, fox, monkey and baboon. The park is a virtual city of wildlife. But now we’re off, heading back to the Kenya coast.
On the way back, we’ll make stops to rest, stretch and have lunch. As we return to your resort or hotel, you’ll gaze at the passing countryside. By late afternoon or early evening, we’ll have you back at your coastal accommodation. We’ve enjoyed having you as our guest and look forward to your next safari with us. Now it’s time to head back to the Kenya coast. You’ll arrive back at your hotel or resort in the late afternoon with tales of wondrous animal spotting.
