This 7 days safari Starts From/Returns to Mombasa, Diani, Watamu, Bamburi & North Coast beach areas.For six days we’ll track Africa’s famous wildlife – everything from lion and leopard to rhino and flamingo. This medium-length safari will impress with its joyful variety of dramatic landscapes and wild animals.We’ll start out at the largest reserve of them all, Tsavo East National Park, a place of rugged plains and red-dust soil. All the large game is here including the big cats. For guaranteed sightings of elephants, we’ll travel next to Amboseli National Park under the shadow of majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. This is a picture postcard of a park.
You’ll be entertained by the birdlife at Lake Nakuru National Park – it is varied, omnipresent and quite colorful – with pelicans, storks and flamingos, among many others gathered by the lake. Wrapping up our tour is the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, the king of Kenya’s parks. Home to the “Big Five”, it’s also the site of the Great Migration, the largest spectacle of animals on the planet.

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner
The safari begins with a pickup at your beach hotel or at the Mombasa port. We’ll take the Mombasa – Nairobi Highway to Tsavo East.You’ll take in the sights of fields, homesteads and the people of Kenya on your journey to Tsavo East National Park. Entering the park, our game drives will begin as we scan the grasslands for lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino.
We’ll enjoy some big advantages in our game spotting as we head to the attractive Aruba Dam, a man-made structure that has created a vibrant reservoir. Great populations of the park’s wildlife come here for the life-sustaining water. Also, at the Kanderi marsh area, we’ll be looking for the pride of lions that reside near this green oasis. Other species such as elephants and giraffe seek nourishment here.
As we depart the reserve for nearby Tsavo West National Park, we’ll keep our eyes out for more big game and over 500 species of birds that fill the reserve. Soon we’ll come upon the massive savannah at Tsavo West, accented with volcanic remnants and lush green areas.We’ll head to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary and carefully explore the area, looking for the shy elusive rhino

We’ll be greeted by the vast, almost limitless horizon of Tsavo East, as we enter the park. This is a rugged place of sparse grassland, punctuated by active watering holes. We’ll be on our first game drive, looking for elephant, lion, buffalo and impala. Afterwards, we’ll freshen up at our accommodation and enjoy lunch amongst the vastness of the park.Then we’re off on another game drive, perhaps to the Aruba Dam, a favorite spot for nourishment for the park’s many thirsty inhabitants. The sun will greet us as we rise early and with luck, the clouds covering Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit will part for us. We’re off on a final game drive and to take one last look at Amboseli’s famous elephants.
But now we’re headed to the Rift Valley and its astonishing escarpments. On the way, Nairobi beckons and we’ll stop at the capital for lunch at one of its distinctive restaurants. Arriving at Lake Naivasha, we’ll have time to take a boat safari across this high-altitude, fresh-water lake. We’ll sail by hippos as we spot the park’s busy birdlife and even see zebra, antelope and others grazing on the shore.
We’ll spend one night here at Naivasha at your choice of accommodation.
The Lake Naivasha area is close to other natural parks and preserves filled with wildlife. We’ll take a bicycle ride to nearby Hell’s Gate National Park for a most unique safari experience, riding or walking by the peacefully foraging animals of the park. This is a wonderful way to get reasonably close to the wildlife.
Afterward, a quick one-hour drive will bring us to Lake Nakuru National Park, an appealing refuge of large animals, an important rhino sanctuary, and an alkaline lake, known for its birdlife, especially flamingoes.In what other park could you spot the bright fuchsia birds, plus lion, cheetah and endangered black rhinos?

Today’s the day we embark to the mighty Masai Mara! We’ll be up early and enjoy a quick game drive as we exit Lake Nakuru. En route, we’ll partake of lunch and arrive at the park in time for an afternoon drive, taking in our first glimpse of the park’s distinctive rolling hills and deep savannahs.
The Masai Mara National Reserve is a very special eco-system. Not only is it Kenya’s most popular park, it also serves as a lifeline for the area’s natural migration of millions of wildebeests and zebra.
This will be the first of two nights spent at the Mara Reserve.
Get ready for an unforgettable day of game drives and intense animal viewing. The Masai Mara is blessed as one of the most diverse wildlife and well-populated regions in Africa. Besides the “Big Five”, it is home to thousands, and sometimes during the Great Migration (July – October) millions of herding wildebeests and zebra, making their way across the river in search of sustenance.
We’ll fill our day with animal watching on the great savannahs dotted with beautiful acacia trees and down by the Mara River where the animals cross into the park. There, we’ll spot the hippo and crocodile in their natural habitat.
We offer several optional activities to enhance your enjoyment of the Mara experience. If you’d like, ask your guide to arrange a visit with the local Maasai people in a nearby village. You can see their bomas up close and learn about their herding lifestyle. For an unforgettable memory of the Mara, take an optional hot air balloon safari over the dawning plains and watch as the reserve comes to life as you soar above. Your guide can also arrange for this very special moment.
This is our final night of safari which we will spend here at the Mara.

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp, your dedicated driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi – Kenya’s colorful capital city. On the way, your guide will point out the Longonot extinct volcano which is a strato volcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s and its name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges “. You can opt to drive via Naivasha for lunch/excursions at an extra cost or drive straight to Nairobi and pass by Kiambethu farm for the tea farm tour inclusive of a three-course buffet lunch (at an extra cost) OR drive straight back to the capital and later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your back home.
